Electrical Fault Finding & Repairs

Tripping circuits, dead sockets or flickering lights? We'll trace the cause quickly and put it right safely.

Electrical faults can be frustrating, inconvenient and - in some cases - dangerous. Whether it's an RCD that keeps tripping, a circuit that has stopped working, or a burning smell from a socket, it's important to have it looked at by a qualified electrician.

We use professional test equipment and a methodical approach to trace faults to their source rather than simply treating the symptoms. Once we've found the problem, we'll explain what's gone wrong in plain English and give you a clear price to fix it.

From a single faulty light switch to intermittent faults that have defeated others, no job is too small.

Frequently asked questions

My RCD keeps tripping - what should I do?

Try unplugging all appliances and resetting the RCD. If it holds, plug items back in one at a time to see if a particular appliance is the cause. If it still trips, or trips at random, give us a call - it may indicate a wiring fault that needs investigating.

Do you charge for diagnosing a fault?

Fault finding is charged based on the time it takes. We'll always discuss costs with you before starting, and keep you updated as we go.
